Is it possible to sell a dormant company by just changing the registered office address and change of directors or is it more compicated? There may be a buyer interested as they can then go on and buy the domain name but would like to know how complicated this would be?
 
Caveat emptor

You sell them your shares. They then own the company, they change the address and the directors with the CRO.
 
Thank you Joe. When you say sell the shares how do I do this? Do I have record this somewhere in the memorandum when it was set up?
 
You need a Stock transfer form. [broken link removed]

This transfers ownership to the purchaser. There is a stamp duty exemption where the consideration is low which needs to be evidenced in writing.
