Bought apartment off-plan last march for 390k.i have paid a deposit of 30k but have not yet signed final contracts.i am now considering selling it as circumstances have changed.
Questions:
1. Can I sell it before final contracts are signed?
2.Can I sell it for a higher price than I paid for it and if so will i be liable to pay CGT?
3. Will the potential (if they are owner occupiers) buyer have to pay stamp duty on the purchase?
4.What kind of fees (estate agency or solicitors fees) should i expect to pay?

Any answers or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

A. See the other thread on this - Can I sell.
B. Highly unlikely that a developer will let you make the profit. If contracts are not signed, then even if there is no prohibition in the contracts on sub sale (very unlikely), you cannot compel the developer to sell to someone else.

1: not yours to sell if you don't own it, you don't own it until you purchase it of the developer.
2:you can try to sell it for whatever price you want. what price will you get....hard for you to price as you won't get a much on yours as the developer will due to stamp duty, yours will be subject, his won't as new build...

solictors fees on pur and sale.
