What are the costs/fees in selling a house ie, auctioneer fees, solicitor fees etc any penalty in paying back the mortgage?

Auctioneer fees - up to 1.5% + VAT plus advertising costs.

Solicitor - ballpark €2,000.

Penalty in paying back mortgage? depends on the type of mortgage you have - check with your lender.
