I will shortly be selling a car that is worth about 3.5K. Its about 10 years since I saold a car privately, and I'm wondering about test drives and insurance. Basically, what do you do when the potential buyer wants to test drive the car ?Do you look for a physical copy of their driving license and car insurance, and clarify that they have third party cover or whatever to drive any car? Will you not annoy them?
