Selling a car for parts in Cork

Hi, my boyfriend has an old car that he wants to get rid of. It's an Opel. I know that certain places will take the car and scrap it at no cost but I'm wondering whether there are any places in Cork that buy cars for their parts?

There's a guy on donedeal.ie (no affiliation) offering to collect old car for free in Cork.

Do a search there.

No he is still there! but i don't call up anymore - think he is a bit strict about who goes in there now and getting parts off him is a bit of a pain sometimes. But was a great place to spend an afternoon taking bits of cars just to see how to do it before i attempted it on my car .

You may be able to donate the car to the Fire Service for them to practice cutting the roof off etc.

You'd be doing well to get any money for a scrap car nowadays!
