I am thinking of opening an account with Selftrade to deal in equities and funds. Does anyone have any experience with this company?

I trade with Selftrade. Find them quite good but sometimes they can't fill trades and have to be contacted by phone. I am not sure if they allow new accounts from Ireland. Best to check with them

Hi, From recent experience I can confirm that Seltrade do not allow Irish accounts, you must have a uk bank account for their service.
That leaves me still looking for a broker!!!Any suggestions?
We (ILTB) have had good experiences with ODL Securities in London. They take Euro transfers, and you can buy Irish, UK, US & European stocks in the one account. Dealing rates are competitive while not the very lowest. I think TD Waterhouse provide the same offering. Google either and they will appear etc. Trust that helps.
