self employed prsi contributions

i am self employed since april 2005. at end of the year 2005 i did not make any profit from my business. i did not take any drawings from my business this year. how do i pay a prsi contribution for 2005.

Why do you want to pay PRSI if you did not have income. If you have income from other sources than you will have paid on that. If you did not have other income then the taxman will want to know what you were living on.

as far as im aware you would be class s prsi and would still have to pay the minimum € 253 for 2005 and is payable as part of your tax return even if you pay no actual tax . you may be due a rebate if you operated at a loss would advise you use an accountant let them sort it out
