Self employed but no income

Hi Folks,

Just wondering if someone has any info on this, I am self employed but have no income for last 5 weeks, my wife works 4 days a week and gets around 25k a year, we have another house that we have rented (very low rent) and that helps with our big mortgage, are we entitled to any help from social welfare, things are very tight.

Sorry should have also said we have 3 kids and one is still in creche.

You may be entitled to FIS (Family Income Supplement) if the total income is below 703 euros weekly

Why not sell the second house and pay off some of the mortgage ?

Already tried nothing is selling at the moment not even a viewing, anyway thats generating some rent
