Trying to find an alternative location for a group of friends (approx 50) for our traditional weekend in the summer. Originally started in a hotel and then in the recession moved to the large house of one of the attendees - the house had 5 bedrooms and bathrooms with the front garden being turned into a campsite for the braver souls.
Unfortunately that house is no longer a runner due to recent arrivals. Trying to work out if there is an affordable alternative as nobody else has a big enough house to make it work.
Ideally we're looking for somewhere in the West, weekend late July. We do tend to have late night sing songs etc so anywhere with near neighbours is not really an option nor are holiday villages with multiple units. Cost is also an issue.
Are we seeking the impossible? Does not have to be a place with indoor space for everyone, just permission to camp as well and have adequate bathroom facilities.
