Self Built Project Management - Full Cost List

There are plenty of threads which deal with various costs and what to expect in overall costs for self built homes but I could only find one that gives a comprehensive listing off all expenses, and although I found it very usefull and informative there's bound to be other people out there building closer to what my spec should be. Can someone who has, or is in the closing stages of building their house not put up a list of their full expenses from day 1 groundworks through to current stage or indeed finish. Surely most people keep a document with their every expense per stage on it, I know I will be...

I would be forever thankful as I'm sure many self builders searching this site would also be. C'mon, share the knowledge!

As an experienced and qualified Project Manager I can say you would be very surprised the amount of people who have no clue what they have spent or want to spend.

People can't balance their chequebooks let alone budget and plan for multi K project. I don't mean to be derogatory its just human nature.

Potential clients who invite me to tender sometimes say they can't afford my cost yet happily blow their budget and end up in legal wrangles with their builder.

Most people are too afraid to expect a fixed price from a builder and contract it as such.

A comprehensive list of expenses is hard to quantify without planning and daily management.

I would love to do this for my own curiosity.
I have every single receipt from house build, start to finish, and one day i will sit down and tot it all up.

All i know at the moment is that our mortgage is manageable and the house is exactly as we wished.
Two kids, one of whom is sleeping in my arms right now account for all my time (and poor typing), but some day soon i will total the bills....
