Seeking European online broker providing tax documents on dividends.

I opened a Degiro account for future investments and only hold one position in it at present.

I’ve a dividend payment in my balance but no way of getting relevant tax document for my records. Other than Net payment / balance in my account statement, Degiro don’t provide anything regarding dividends.

On the other hand I have a US online broker (Firstrade) whom I’ve happily been using for 14 years and been able to download all relevant documents including dividend withholding tax cert. and realised gain/loss statement.

Has anyone here come across an online brokerage in this parish (Europe) who facilitate easier tax returns ?
It’s a criteria I would prefer.

Degiro do provide annual tax documents for your records.

If you go to "Documents" in your account you will have an Annual Report 2024 pdf with this information.

Well, that's me feeling rather foolish.

Inbox, documents, annual reports.
I wouldn't mind but when I got there I realised I'd been there before when exploring.

De Giro is indeed a lousy platform,basic is the word

While Degiro provide a general dividend tax report, they don't automatically provide the individual tax certificates required to reclaim dividend witholding tax from foreign countries.

They will only provide these at an extra charge. I have tried to reclaim German witholding tax using the Degiro tax report without success.

They (brokers and government) certainly don’t seem to want to make life easy for investors here.
