Seed potatoes - Best yield/taste and disease free?

I am shortly going to purchase some seed potatoes for planting in the next month or so. Last year I purchased about 8 different varieties to try and see which one would taste the nicest and give a good disease free yield. I marked each variety when planting but unfortunately the names washed off the marking sticks with all the rain we had, so I cannot remember which was the best.
This year I am going to do it differently. I am just going to purchase 3 varieties so I am looking for help here from those people who have already tried and tested a few different types. Any recommendations?

Sarpo Mira are naturally blight resistant. Check out giyireland.com for some more advice.

Got Desiree and Charlotte seed potatoes for a pound a bag in the pound shop in the North. They were absolutely gorgeous and I'm going to get some more this year.

They have a [broken link removed] shops here.

Thanks. Yes I have picked up some from Dealz and at €1.49 for about 8 is good. In Woodies yesterday they have a bigger selection, two packs for €5.00. They also do a larger size but I think having a few different varieties is always fun.
