Have a house since 2005, got a AIB tracker mortgage. Current value of the house is around 200-210, mortgage is 220k, so slightly in negative, repayments 1k per month.
I earn 92k, partner 40k. Have savings of 150k + 20K. Have mortgage approval for 350k from BOI. Kind of want to get another property to live in and just rent out the house we're in at the moment, as its a bit small. Would like to keep it, as a small investment.
Bit worried about interest rates and Greece and buying in the middle of another bubble. Also worried about invalidating conditions of tracker by renting out. Any thoughts?
