Seat Ibiza 96 door problem

Hello,
The driver door of my Seat Ibiza (1996) has suddenly broken. I can not lock the door with the key, I have to do it from the inside.
I would like to know what can I do? Where can I go? Which garage?
I bought the car 2 month ago and I am not from Ireland so I am completely lost... And I do not have any clue about how much it can cost.
Had anyone the same problem?
Any advice?

Where do you live?
I know a good mechanic in town
I left my car in this morning - similar problem
It's a fiat punto and driver door won't close at all sometimes. Lock is faulty

I go to Noel in Macken Motors in which is just off Pearse street

They will give you a price when they see what the problem is
 
I went down to Noel once. Turned the car around in half a day for me.
Handy when I worked less than 5 mins away.

A guy I worked with always uses him.

There must be somewhere in Maynooth, Arrange to drop the car in the morning and pickup at lunch time or end of the day.

On the cost I suppose it depends on the problem I would guess min €100

Hi,

the exact same thing happened with my Seat Ibiza a few years ago - the key would not turn in the lock, and I could only lock the door from the inside.

I went to a service station in Cabinteely - cant remember the name but I think it's QuikFit (it's on the N11 very near the entrance to Cherrywood Business Park) - and the garageman fixed it for free in about 10 mins!
