seasonal employees

I acted as a sole trader last year - imorting products & selling them on and just about got the hang of filling in form 11 for revenue. This year, for the Xmas period I need some help & will take on 2-3 casual/seasonal employees. These will be employed by me for about 3-4 weeks and I probably won't need any help again until next Xmas.
I think I have to register for Income Tax - or I have to register THEM for income tax. Can anybody point me in the right direction here about what I have to do?
I was hoping to find a simple way to emply 3-4 people for less than a month - I am sure there are PAYE, PRSI, Income Levy considerations - but what's the least administrative solution here for employing a couple of people at the busiest time of the year?
