Searching for artists retreat

Hi, just wondering if anybody knows of cottages or retreats for artists to rent out by the week. First preference would be Kerry, but anywere considered.

I'd second that, walked around Cill Rialaig, beautiful individual stone cottages nestled into side of mountain, spectacular views.

what kind of budget are you looking at ? How much is Cill Rialaig ? Do artists get a better rate ?

Its for artists only. In relation to budget I think you can donate some of you work which will be sold in the local heritage centre.

Budget - naturally an artists budget. However, donation of artworks sounds ok. Actually, i had read a bit about cill rialaig a long time ago. The website looks interesting...cant find the cost tho. Anybody know how much it costs to stay there?

As far as I know they sometimes offer accomodation gratis.

I've heard of an artists' retreat somewhere in County Monaghan - Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annamakerrig.
I haven't been but know some people who have and they have much praise for it.
Not sure about rates though.
