It's a slow day, so bear with me.
I read the letters in the Irish Times most days and they have an ongoing discussion on the abolition or reform of the Senate.
In all the letters I have seen in which both the institution and it's members are referred to, the terms used are "Seanad" and "Senators".
In not one letter have I seen "Seanad" and "Seanadóirí", or "Senate" and "Senators" or even "Senate" and "Seanadóirí".
I wonder why this is?
