Seamless men's socks.

I had thought it was just my crowd of moans in this house who complained about men's socks with seams cutting the feet off them until I read this post some time ago.

I've looked in a few different shops recently but can't find any without horrible hard seams across the top of the sock. Any recommendations out there for ordinary (not for ski-ing) men's socks?
 
I'm sure traditional old style mens shops would do these. Socks that are cashmere or silk blends tend not to have seams across the toe.

Maybe you might like to knit your own socks. My daughter knits her own socks all colours and designs and no seams as they are knit all in the one piece.

Believe me when I say I would never throw my hard earned at something like this! Have been given them as a present though - not sure I entirely like them as it happens - feels like you're wearing a cobweb.
