Sealing hallmark brickwork

Hi,

I moved into my self build last year and am hoping to seal the brickwork before the end of th year. The whole external of the house is Hallmark Nickle blend brickwork.

I was hoping to get some pointers on doing this or what products to use for it?

I have seen sika and Thompsons brick sealer in the builders providers. The sika is much more expensive. Is there a difference between them?

Our self build has a front gable in Hallmark nickle blend, but we never considered sealing it. Its the outer leaf so in theory water cannot jump across to inner leaf of blocks. Are you going to uneccessary costs here ?

Our garage was build with hollow blocks and we did have a water penentration problem, we used Thompson one coat sealer, problem solved.

The build is a timber frame and just wondered if it is recommended or best practice to seal hallmark?

If it is not I didn't intend doing it as I had enough pains after racking, rolling and reseeding the lawn last week to do me til next summer.
