Hi,
I own a house with a friend which we are likely to sell in about 3 years time. At the moment we could get up to 381k for it pretty easily within the 3% SD Bracket.
My question is that presuming that house prices increase modestly in the next few years, we could be on the very bottom of the next bracket and would it be difficult to sell at that point? As it's 381 - 635, we are unlikey (I could be wrong?) to climb up very much in this bracket in the next 3-5 years?
Presumably, buyers will either try to stay below the bracket or buy well into the next bracket if they are prepared to pay 6%.
Its a detached house in Drimnagh very close to the LUAS and has decent rental potential being close to St James.
Any thoughts?
Thanks a Million
J
