Have a laptop 1 year 2 months old and the screen has black streak down middle and lines down the middle......it is not under guarantee any more, any ideas.?
 
I reckon your screen is dead.

It happened to mine (twice), was under extended warranty, Dell had screen replaced with a new one each time.
