Screed Flooring

Has anyone experience of self leveling concrete screed as opposed to the traditional sand & cement for floor screeds. How do they compare in terms of cost & quality.

Quality..........mmmm, I wasn't convinced, so I went for pumped sand/cement screed, 70mm.

Researched this myself for 210 sq.m. Cost for self-leveling screed over €6K. Quote for concrete finisher to barrow in sand/cement and level it is abo.ut €2K and about €1.3K for sand/cement delivered. So about €6K vs. €3.3K. Will be going with the barrowed sand/cement. Have seen him in action and now have no concerns about barrows being used and quality of finished floor. Very much depends on the quality of his work though. Pumped sand/cement adds €80/hour for pump. Going for 75mm I think.
