Scratches on black car - any hints?

Recently upgraded my car to a 4 year old Focus and while I love almost everything about it (I had a Punto previously) the downside is it's black. We have communal parking at our apartment (unallocated) and almost every day I find a new scratch on the paintwork.

Any ideas how best to hide these and also if there's any preventative steps I can take other than moving house!

i dont know if this applies to you but having recently purchased a used car i was given a pen with it which covers any scratches should they occur i wonder if you go to a motor factors could they supply one, also i think its t cut that have a product on the market which polishes as well as removes slight scratches on a car, hope this helps
