Scratches and dent repairs

This has come up many times before - a search on 'scratch repair' should bring up the relevant posts.
 
I just got my car repaired after I scraped the side of it off a pillar.
It was scratched and needed a panel beating and respray.

I used Motor Developments in Kinsealy, and I found them very good.
 
How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?
Could you give an indication of type of scratches too please

My car has been keyed head to toe
 
We phoned dial-a-dent for a quote to fix a key scratch from one end of car to other, and a big dent on rear bumper, as well as other minor scuff marks and they were quoting €550! Not too bad.

We are since waiting to put the car through the NCT for a retest before having it done, so can't comment on quality of work.
 
Sounds like a good price. There is a place of the south circular which is really good on price too. Cant remember the name but they are down the lane across from the garda club
 
Mine cost €450, that was for panel beating and respray of scratches to the back quarter panel of my car. (I have a 2 door so it was the bit just behind the door)
 
Also Depends on how deep the scratce is some can be polished out and som need to be resprayed - respray will cost a lot more than to polish
