Just wondering what kind of cost is involved in hiring scaffolding for a self-build? do companies hire scaffolding out on a weekly basis and what is the typical rental for it?
The scaffolding might be up a lot longer than you had hoped. Sometimes its cheaper to buy it with somebody else as mentioned above or try come to an arrangement with one of your tradesmen to supply it as part of the deal or buy it off you at the end or whatever.
don't really like the idea of buying it even though it would work out cheaper. i'd then be responsible for erecting it and making sure it complied with all H&S regulations.
any rough ideas of actual total cost of entire scaffolding hire for a selfbuild per week/month? have no idea how much to budget for.
