Hi,

I am planning on setting up a savings account. Where am I best to look at? Planning on adding a few hundred each month - possibly more.

Should I look to invest it or put it in a good savings account?

Thanks.

you havent posted any information about your time frame, and what you are saving for, so it would be very hard to give you advice. But as investments can go down as well as up, you might wish to start by regular savings to build up your cash. After a period of regular savings, you could make regular payments into an investment fund or into other assets.

Look at "best buys" on regular savings under "deposits" section of AAM for variety of options/offers. When you say "invest" u need to define what you mean. Funds options might be something to look at. Shares/equities, even pensions might be all be considered investments. The term you would want would be particularly relevant, as would be the level of risk you would wish to take. Again, look under best buys on investment section of AAM, and post add'l questions if you have any.
