I'd like to open up my daughter's 1st bank account.
What I would like is:
1 Access:
This has been an issue in that we get the odd cheque in her name so I'd like to be able to lodge these (random) cheques in,
(in fact that's what is triggering me now)
I understand some of the best rate accounts may not allow you do this?
2 Long term investment:
We'll never want to withdraw from it, so we should be able to get a high rate of interest?
3 Tax:
As she's not earning, can we put a lot in there which would be DIRT free,
or at least free from the 42% tax we'd have to pay?
