My brother got the sky digital package, the works.
he is no longer a member, he still has the sky box,and he gets the bbc through the system.Is it possible to recieve other sattelite channels on this box? If so, does anyone know
how do you do this?

Is there a magazine which lists the fta channels @ their frequency

Unless you live on a hillside on the East coast (or near the N.I. border), you won't pick up FTA channels, but with a Sky digibox you'll get the Beeb and others Free-to-view.

Check out the digital spy forums — there are lots of helpful experts there, and a regularly updated [broken link removed].

and look at http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html where they show whats on Astra which is where the sky dish is pointed.
