Satellite Receiver issue

Hi
I just bought a Skyline HD Satellite Kit (HDSR 400 receiver). Have the dish up & directed to approx elevation & angles provided etc.. The receiver is connected to TV via HDMI cable.
My problem is I'm only getting a 'No Signal' prompt on TV. I double checked the co-axial connections and even used an alternative cable in case original was damaged. I realise that the dish may need adjustment and fine tuning but surely I need to get some signal first?

Any ideas welcome!
 
are you using a signal meter of some sort and have you looked at u tube tutorials on the subject.
