Just wondering if anyone has any advice with regard to Broadband via satellite.
Its my only option as no other broadband medium is available in my area.
What are the disadvantages and are there any pitfalls i gotta watch out for.
I hear latency issues being talked about a lot, what is this?
I'm not interested in playing games or downloading/uploading large files, just a quick and cost effective connection so i can spend as little time as possible watching egg timers fill up.
I have the maximum flat rate isdn connection but it can be still slow and i have got hammered twice for going over the set number of hours.
I am particularly interested in the Home product offered by e3broadband.
Does anyone have any experience of dealing with this company and if so what are their after sales/technical support like?

I know somebody who used Digiweb for their home office setup because there was not other broadband service on offer where they lived. It wasn't cheap and there were some issues with latencies/delays on initial connection to new sites/servers but these seemingly ease off after a bit of use (during the same "session"). Overall were happy with it although they didn't have much choice! I think that the ping times involved wouldn't suit gamers or other real time users.
