Can anybody give me a general guide to sat nav? What features should I go for, how much should I expect to pay, what are the best brands, do they all work abroad, can they be upgraded. ie if a new road is built does the system automatically update that or does it have to be done manually. I have never seen one in action and know nothing about them so all advice would be appreciated.
