Saorview TV wont tune in

Hi,

Does anyone know why the following TV wont tune in

It says it has a Integrated Saorview digital tuner but it doesnt seem to be picking up any channels. Any ideas there is no roof ariel just the old rabbits ears.

All advice appreciated.

It wasnt me trying to tune it in was a friend of mine said he didnt get anything was just trying to find out what is needed with this tv to get saorview.

Might be easier to slit the UPC in the house and just run a cable to the room the tv is in.
 
Before getting saorview, did they rely on UPC for a signal, or were the rabbits ears sufficient to receive a good clear signal? They may be in a weaker signal area where they will need a larger aerial on the roof or in the attic. What are the neighbours using?
