who's going to get a bike for christmas when you can hold off til January and get 1000e as a tax break. Can you imagine explaining that one to the kids on xmas morning...

"Im sorry love, Santa could have got the bike for you this morning but if you wait until January, Santa can avail of a cycling to work tax credit courtesy of the recent budget"

Also, do pink Bratz stabilisers qualify as safety equipment? I couldnt find anything about on the revenue site.
 
...cue every bike shop in the country dropping prices before Christmas and jacking them the fook up 200% after it.
 


Thats toooo funny.it should have been the opening line at the BUDGET.

God I hope so! while occasionally observing cyclists manouvering between trucks, swerving cars and potholes while I'm stuck in traffic I often think, "well, I'd be able for that if I got the stabilisers back on the bike" lol.
