I was in Harvey Norman's over the weekend and saw this LED TV. Hooked up to Blue-Ray it looks very good. However, the salesman said that the picture quality degrades rapidly when watching standard Sky (compared with LCD and Plasma). Power consumption is supposed to be low and the contrasts very good. However, this salesman wasn't really too pushed on the LED. He did also say that there were some faults with sound on the model 6. LED is an emerging technology and it seems Samsung are the only vendors. It may bode well to hold off for a few months to see how the technology matures.
