Samsung ML1520 & Brother HL2040 Mono Laser Printers

Was just wondering if anyone had any experience of using either of these mono laser printers, and what your experiences of them has been...

They're both a similar price. I was thinking of buying a mono laser printer for just writing letters, so I think potentially either might be suitable for this use.

I checked on the net for toners and it seemed easy to find lots of companies selling compatible toners for the Samsung printer, but I could only find one company selling compatible toners for the Brother printer.

Any opinions most welcome.
 
From looking at the picture, I have an older version of the Samsung ML1520 (bought a couple of years ago now). I havent had any problems with it. It really depends on the usage pattern and what you need the printer for. I have it just for adhoc printing at home.

The Samsung is a better option IMHO. Brothers fall apart rather easily. Have a few of that make samsung for managers at work and they never cause a problem. They are very like a hp model.
