was in marks and spencer at the weekend buying some items. only looked at the receipt today and noticed that one of the items had been scanned twice on the receipt, resulting in me paying €17 more than i should have.
do you think there ia any point in bringing this to their attention the next time i'm at their store?
As regards giving the benefit of the doubt, I've found M&S to be among the more relaxed outlets - I don't think you'll have any problems - but I'd go in sooner rather than later.
This happened me last week, thankfully I spotted it before leaving the store and my credit card from refunded at the till once a manager was call. It probably happens quite frequently, it may be worth giving them a call as soon as you can.
I have had this happen to me in M&S when using the 'express' checkouts. I caught it in time. But they told we they have a problem with items been scanned through the plastic bags as they are being put in.
