Salvage - looking for advice

Not sure if I am in the right forum, but no doubt it will be moved immediately if it is!

I am looking for advice on where to sell a salvaged item.

Does anyone know of any good sites to do a bit of research first before I go about selling it and does anyone have any ideas on the best way to sell it..i.e. I don't think I would put it on ebay as I would have no intention of shipping it.

Many thanks for the links and the advice, didn't realise you could put collection only on ebay (not very well up on it).

Leo, I deliberatley didn't put a lot of information about the product in case it would be misconstrued as trying to sell it here. I am aware of the rules, but point taken and thank you for editing the post.
