Safety of deposits in Anglo

My elderly Mother in Law has some money on deposit in Anglo and is worried to the extent that she intends withdrawing it all this week.

A week ago, I'd have convinced her she's wrong but now I'm a bit less sure of my footing.

Does she have any cause for concern? If not, any advice on what I might say to reassure her?

I think if anything, deposits are now safer (not that I thought they were ever unsafe)

The impression I get is that banks and deposits will be saved at all costs.

Just my opinion, though.
