Safe way to pay English Co for goods: 1 - Internet transfer. 2 - Cheque, 3 - Cash?

I am looking for a way to safely pay an English company for the manufacturer of a spiral staircase. The company offer 3 ways of payment 1 - Internet transfer. 2 - Cheque, 3 - Cash. Is there any other way that I can pay them and have the same type of pretection that a credit card would provide i.e charge back?

A company selling such expensive items that doesn't have a credit card account would make me question how reliable they really are. Probably just my suspicious mind.
