AFAIK mobile safari on the iPhone/iTouch doesn't support adobe flash which is used on the YouTube site. I think you need do download an application which allows you to access a different version of the site. I could be wrong.

It should work fine, my daughter watches youtube all the time on her's. Whatever updates are needed itunes sticks them on when you sync, we use macs, so maybe on PCs it doesn't.

Afaik theres a youtube app for the iPhone/iPod Touch that you can use. Most Youtube stuff is being recoded to h.264 (mepg4) now, so the flash thing might not be such an issue.

Just use the Youtube application which is already installed on your ipod touch.

On my iPod touch, when I click on a YouTube link, it automatically minimizes Safari and opens the YouTube app which came pre-installed.
