saab cigarette lighter

hi all

anyone ever have an issue with the cigarette lighter in Saabs? I recenty bought an 06 9-3; it doesn't have an ashtray but does have a cigarette lighter. I don't smoke but would like to use it for my phone charger, hands free kit etc. I assumed it was a blown fuse, changed that but still no joy.

Any suggestions?

isn't it still under guarantee?

It is still under warranty alright. I was just wondering if there was anything basic that I could do as haven't had the time to bring it to a garage just yet.
