Taking off travelling (well fingers crossed!) in mid September for 9 months.
Had initially hoped to take in Central America (Mexico, Belize, etc) first before heading down into S.America. Had kind of planned to be in Oz for Xmas and New Year celebrations but getting into the details of planning it now that leaves us with only 3 months in the Americas.
Initially we considerd dropping C.America for 3 full months in S.America but even that mightn't be enough.
What would people suggest, is it worth getting to Oz for Xmas and NY or should we just take in what we want and move on when we're finished? Where's a good place to spend Xmas in S.America?
Plan after Oz is Malaysia, S.E.Asia, and India / Nepal, where we hope to spend 3-4 months.
