How is it that these gentlemen down in the OK Club can organise and set up 'Park and Ryde' areas in Punchestown, Weston etc for thousands of cars just to see a few guys chasing a golf ball, when the rest of us are stuck with no facilities and have to face the agony of Dublin traffic all the time?

Where there's a will there's a way, most of these super rich are thus because they are competent at getting things done.

This is golf we are talking about, far more important than every day mundane things like getting to work..............

Are you being serious? Maybe it's because there's big open fields and spaces down the country to park in unlike the city centre???

No Glenbhoy,

Where there's a will there's a relative !!!!!

But surely they could have these park & ride facilities in the same locations but the 'ride' part would be a bus/coach into the city rather than to the K Club !

This comes up a couple of times a year.

Its always put down by Dublin City Council ( speaking ex cathedra ) proclaiming that Park 'n Ride couldnt work for a town the size of Dublin.

( So There ! )

Pity they wont allow a 1 year tryout of - say - Naas to Luas Red Cow
