Ryanair travel insurance

Has anybody used this, would they recommend it. Basically I need an insurance that if the flights don't go for whatever reason we will be refunded etc. Including weather, if that is possible ! Or somebody falls ill. It's only a shorthall flight within Europe.

Also, if you don't book seating, will they put you together as a family anyway? (like Aer Lingus)

I'm pretty sure they do. I know a person that got four seats together. I have booked two people a few times and always been put together. Of course, I assume the booking has all four on the same booking referance.

You're covered under EU Consumer legislation for most of those things so I'm not sure you need it. I checked in 2 people for a Ryanair flight recently and we got to sit together.
