Ryanair Cancellation

I have been trying to cancel flights booked by an American cousin for trips between Ireland and the UK return. It does not seem possible to be able to cancel when I go through the website.
Is this the actual case that you cannot cancel Ryanair flights? Reason she wants to cancel is the US airline she was to travel over with has gone bust!

There's probably no facility to cancel because there's no point in cancelling - Ryanair don't give refunds. Even if your cousin decides to put herself through the annoyance of trying to reclaim taxes etc, (s)he will find that the charges charged by Ryanair for doing this will cancel out any refund.

Hi
Why are you trying to cancel them? (ie to get money back or just to tell them your cousin isn't travelling? )
The flight fee is non refundable ([broken link removed]), and the only things you can try and get back are government taxes: but there is an administration fee applied that works out higher than those : ie you cannot get a refund of money from Ryan air.
I don't think you need to cancel the flights, and it may even be impossible to do so.
[broken link removed] is more information if you want to try to get a refund on travel insurance purchased with them,if she has done so, but I wouldn't be holding your breath though.
Nicola
