Ryanair - can you book a check in bag for return journey only?

Hi,

Planning a trip away before the end of the year, Ryanair are the best option time wise.

I won't really need to check in a bag on the way out, but may buy a few bits while I'm away which might push me over the carry on limit on the way home.

Does anyone know if I can check in a bag only on the way back? I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere on the Ryanair site

thanks.

I'd say you 'd have to book the two legs separately. It's a hassle but no more expensive. Actually, it would also give you some freedom if you had to change one of the flying dates.

Like Gervan said book the two legs separately. We are just back from a few days away, we flew with Ryanair and I hadn't booked any bags into the hold but turned out we needed to put one in so from advice on here before checking in online I just used the 'manage my booking' section to add a bag - Eur10 which was grand. So when you're coming back you can do the same before checking in online...
