Very little coverage surprisingly about having to queue for a boarding pass if not paying for a seat. Big money spinner for them. Is it definitely in place now ?
 
There were discussions on AAM and boards, and articles in the Irish Times and BBC website.

It appears that it only applies to people who check in at the last minute to try to get a "good" free seat. People who check in when it opens (24 hours before flight) don't seem to have an issue.
