Ryanair baggage allowence - Question

The checked baggage allowance is 15kg per person (no infant allowance).
Passengers may not use the unused allowances of others.
No pooling/sharing of baggage allowances is permitted, even when
travelling together on the same reservation.
Any excess over 15kg per person will be charged at the rate
of GBP5.50/EUR8 per kilo (or local currency equivalent). For health and
safetyreasons Ryanair will not accept any individual item exceeding 32
kilos and with combined dimensions of more than 81cms height, 119cms
wide and 119cms depth.

Can I pack one case for 3 people as long as the case weighs under 32kg?
 
No. Take a 2nd bag and spread the load.

And, AFAIK, the checked-in allowance is 20kg. We flew Ryanair on Friday and Sunday and, on the return flight, each bag was between 15 & 20 kg and we weren't charged excess. We did pay, at time of booking, the €3.50 baggage charge.

From my booking confirmation e-mail of 21 April 2006 ..

Our flight was to/from UK.
 
Thanks for that...we actually booked before the 16th march so have 15kg not the new 20kg.

Doesn't make sense...you would think they would prefer less bags....or maybe its easier to catch people for excess baggage that way;)
 
no more bags less weight, its easier and safer for staff to lift more ligher ones that heavy bags
