Rutherford Ross €7,500 on a 'plot' in the Chestnut Green Development, Clutton, Bristo

I got involved with above in 2003 and stupidly spent 7500euro on a 'plot' in the chestnut Green development, Clutton, Bristol.

I have been chasing them for info etc but to no avail. Emails go unanswered and the telephone numbers ring out.

I checked with Bristol Council who have confirmed that no application has been received for this area.

I am totally gutted. Its not as if I had the 'spare cash'. I had saved for a considerable time. I foolishly listened to what they had to say and was totally taken in with the whole idea of making in or around 4 times what I put in.

Is anybody in the same situation? Is there anything I can do to try and get some of my money back? I didn't pay by credit card so can't go down that road.

Any help would be really really appreciated.

I feel so angry about the whole thing and feel that I have to do something. I hate the idea of them getting away with this. Taking innocent people's hard earned money.

Have you any documents for this transaction ?
Did you use a solicitor?
Surely you just didnt hand over 7.5k just like that ?
Did you actually physically see this plot?

I remember there being some bad press about this many years ago. I actually think they even sell plots they dont own ! I have never actually heard of these people but i have just looked at their website which looks convincing of course.

You probably need a solicitor to look into this for you.

A Solicitor Was Involved. Bennett & Ryan (legit-i've Checked!) I Have The Title Deeds For The Plot. They Only Came Through In Feb This Year So I've Been Waiting Patiently For Confirmation That Planning Gone Through. Got Tired Of Waiting And Trying To Contact Rutherford Ross So I Took It Upon Myself To Contact The Relevant Planning Authority And They Have Confirmed That No Planning Application Has Been Received.

I too have been caught by this so called company.

I checked out solicitor bennet and ryan and theyre legit alright.

I traced website to indian guy who claims he wasnt paid for site but he hasnt taken it down so im left wondering about him.

I lost 7500 to these also but im damned if ill give up.

I ring the number and get through to a woman who says theres no one in at the minute this can be any time of day.

I have a ploy up my sleve tho as i cant say here cause theyre obviously watchin this space too.

ill win eventually you can guarantee that, so hang in there anyone that has lost money.
