Hi, our clothes line just died a death from over use. Could anyone recommend a particular make or purchase a rotary clothes line recently? Its is one item that gets huge use so I would like to get a good one while Im at it. Thanks.
I always find it handy to of items on the website. If you pick out the particular clothes line that you have in mind you will probably find plenty of reviews when you look at the individual item.
I don't like rotary ones myself and have just an ordinary length of the garden clothes line so I can't make a recommendation. We also ran a smaller one from the section that the line itself wraps around.
Do you have Wilkinsons over there? We bought our last rotary at our local branch in England about five years ago and have had no problems with it. About £40 I think.
I bought a Brabantia four armed rotary and am very happy with it.
As far as I can remember it was over a 100 euro. Have bought cheaper for tenanted houses but they are not near as sturdy or durable, especially in stormy weather.
I also have a Brabrantia 4 arm clothes line, bought 5 years ago from Woodies, I think it cost 110 euro at the time. Expensive but well worth the money, it's sturdy and still as good as new!
Another positive vote for Brabantia.........the wires stay taut on it which is not the case in some of the cheaper ones. More expensive than other lines, but worth it.
Thank you all very much. Brabantia seems to be the one...and I will defo look up argos.co.uk reviews.I used to love the clothes line length Sun Ellen also..great drying..but the rotary one is more suitable for our current garden and I ve grown to love it also...sad I know! Thanks a million.
